New Zealand Post is about delivering parcels, packages and mail for businesses and consumers. We have been around for more than 178 years and during that time stamps and, more recently coins, have been used to represent New Zealand's culture, heritage, history and its people. Stamps and coins aren’t just a payment method, they’re a means of telling wonderful stories and capturing stunning moments in history.

Let us commemorate what happened 100 years ago across the other side of the globe and at home on these shores we call Aotearoa New Zealand.

New Zealand's First World War Centenary (WW100) programme supports a range of events, activities and projects – online and in all parts of the country – to mark the centenary of the First World War. The war was one of the most significant events of the 20th Century, and had a massive impact on New Zealand society. Visit to learn more and get involved.

The Pukeahu National War Memorial Park is the national place for New Zealanders to remember and reflect on this country’s experience of war, military conflict and peacekeeping, and how that experience shapes our ideals and sense of national identity.

The development of the park is the government’s key project to acknowledge the centenary of the First World War.

The Walking with an Anzac Discovery Box was researched, conceived of, created and distributed by School Kit to 1000 classrooms across New Zealand. School Kit is a teacher visiting service which provides an effective solution for government programmes, industry good bodies and commercial clients that want to engage in authentic learning experiences with New Zealand classrooms. We're a trusted path for teachers who want quality, innovative, captivating NZ resources. We're honoured to have had the chance to be a part of this project. Find more of our resources at
